Paper carcass on floor this morning. Foot tread over torn pages. This school is afraid of me, I've seen it's true face. The halls are extended gutters, and the gutters are filled with gum, and when the drains finally scab over, the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their cheating and douchebaggery will foam up about their waists, and the whores and freshmen will look up and shout, "Save us!" And I will look down and whisper, "No..."

They had a choice, all of them. They could have followed in the footsteps of good men like my father or Principal Watson. Decent men who believed in a day's work for a day's pay. But instead they followed the droppings of lechers and dropouts, and they didn't realize that trail led over a precipice until it was too late. Don't tell me they didn't have a choice. And now the whole school stands at the brink, staring over the edge into bloody hell. And all of those liberals and intellectuals and smooth talkers...suddenly nobody has anything to say...

EDIT: I do have s'more piccies and such to upload this week.

Also had to update for this piece of awesomeness: [link] I will totally hide in a corner in B&N to see as much of this as I can without purchasing it! (Anticlimactic, but I have too many things on my buy list right now)

...............................................................

Yup, I'm home from our family trip to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and King's Island amusement park in Ohio. I was pretty much ready to be home, I'm not sure how many more southern accents I could stand to hear. ;)

The Smokies were a nice, relaxing getaway. Not quite as stunned as I was in Alaska, but in fairness I didn't really get to see as much of them as I did the Last Frontier. I would have liked to have seen more wildlife, but my sister whines and moans about hiking. So, sadly no bear sightings... :(

King's Island was better than I expected. We got to ride all the big coasters but two: Son of Beast was undergoing maintenance, and some man with respiratory trouble died after riding the Firehawk not long before we got there, so obviously it was closed out of respect. My favorite coaster was Diamondback, their newest: It had this menacing howl that really added to the character of the ride.

Expect pictures!

I'll be gone for a while starting Sat, Aug 1. My family will be going to the Smokies on vacation.

Just in the rare case that someone decides to send me something or comment, know not to expect a speedy reply.

FSTA, out.

Vacation Collapse.

Wed Jul 1, 2009, 1:54 PM
Well, the week-long up north trip was cut short due to poor weather and the rest of the family bailing part-way in. Yesterday pretty much everybody left in a sort of chain reaction which I attempted to stop. It's unfortunate as, as I had predicted, that day really wasn't all that bad outside.

Even in the most optimistic perspective, we really only were able to do less than half the stuff we normally do. And we couldn't get a refund for the next few days when we left.

So...yeah.
