Well, the week-long up north trip was cut short due to poor weather and the rest of the family bailing part-way in. Yesterday pretty much everybody left in a sort of chain reaction which I attempted to stop. It's unfortunate as, as I had predicted, that day really wasn't all that bad outside.
Even in the most optimistic perspective, we really only were able to do less than half the stuff we normally do. And we couldn't get a refund for the next few days when we left.
So...yeah.

The problem seems to be more that I never got the hang of it early on because you were blazing the trail. I'd like it a whole lot more if I was actually good at it. XD
In any case, I think the purchase was worth it in that it gave us something to do together. Otherwise we'd probably never have hung out.

Even if I suck that doesn't mean we won't still play Vesperia! XD But we should try some other things as well.
